6. Publicly Viewable Information

Your profile information, which consists of your display name, username, profile photo, bio, the month you joined, and the number of posts, number of followers, and number of accounts you follow, is visible to anyone, including people without a Garden account, whether your account is public or private.

Public accounts. If your account is public, your posts, including their text, images and linked music, can be seen by other users of the Platform and by anyone on the internet. Every public profile and post has a link that can be shared and viewed outside of Garden, and those links may show a preview of your profile or post when shared on other websites and messaging apps. Search engines may index these pages. Other users of the Platform can also see your followers and the accounts you follow.

Private accounts. If your account is private, only you and followers you have approved can see your posts and your follower and following lists. Links to your posts will not display their content to anyone else.

You can switch between public and private at any time in your account settings. Content that was public before you made your account private may still exist in copies that others made or that third parties saved, such as search engine caches and link previews, which we do not control.
